  • Is your soap made from natural ingredients?
    YES, our soaps are made from scratch using natural ingredients like coconut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, olive oil, sunflower oil, avocado oil, and rice bran oil. Bars are scented using natural essential oils. A small number of bars are scented with a minimal amount of cosmetic grade fragrance. These soaps disclose the presence of fragrance oil in the ingredients section.
  • What are the benefits of natural soap?
    Natural soaps are full of vitamin-rich oils and butters that nourish and moisturize your skin, unlike commercial soaps which contain harsh chemicals. These natural ingredients result in a creamy, abundant lather that leaves your skin feeling naturally clean and healthy. Cleanbar soaps are made from scratch using natural ingredients, with none of the harmful chemicals found in commercial store-bought soaps.
  • Are your products handmade?
    Every batch of soap is made by hand. We make cold process soap using traditional methods, natural ingredients, and wooden molds. Soaps are cut by hand and cured for 30 days. Our process ensures we maintain the benefits and high-quality Cleanbar soaps are known for. It takes longer, but the resulting product is worth the extra effort.
  • Are your products vegan or gluten free?
    Our soaps are free of animal or animal-derived products. A small number of soaps (1 currently) have oats and oat milk in the formula. The complete list of ingredients is available on each product page.
  • Are your products tested on animals?
    Our products are tested on humans, not animals.
  • How big are the bars and what is the shelf life for your soaps?
    Each bar weighs 4.5 ounces and will generally last 2 – 3 weeks. You will extend the life of your soap by using a soap dish that allows the soap to dry between uses. We will guarantee our products for one year from the purchase date. Please keep in mind the aroma of certain essential oils will diminish over time once exposed to air. However, once the soap has been wet and lathered, the scent is refreshed. Store soaps in a cool and dry place and avoid excessive heat or exposure to direct sunlight.
  • Where do you ship and how can I get FREE SHIPPING?
    We currently ship throughout the United States. Orders of $60 or more qualify for FREE SHIPPING; no coupon code is required. FREE SHIPPING will automatically be added at checkout.
  • When will my package arrive?
    Orders are shipped Monday through Friday from our warehouse in Port Neches, TX. Allow 1 business day for processing. Most orders arrive in 3-4 business days.
  • Do you offer gift wrap if my order is being shipped as a gift purchase?
    We do not offer gift wrap but will happily include a personal notecard with your message in the box for the recipient. To include a note, please use the message option in the cart during checkout to let us know. Include the message you would like us to write on the notecard as well.
  • Do you have a retail store?
    Our business operates as an online retailer. You can only purchase soaps on our website.
  • Do you offer wholesale, or can I purchase products to resell in my business?

  • Can coupon codes be combined?
    Only one promo code can be used per order.
  • What is your return policy?
    Our returns and refund policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase date, it is no longer eligible for refund or exchange. Please visit our Returns and Refunds page for more information.
  • How does the subscribe and save feature work?
    To receive your favorite Cleanbar soap on a recurring basis, simply choose the subscribe & save option. Subscribing saves you 5% off the regular price. Your soap will be automatically shipped to you every 30 days.
  • Can I add several soaps to my subscription?
    You can subscribe to more than one soap by setting up a subscription for each soap individually. Each time you select a soap, it will bring you to the check out page to complete the transaction. For example, if you want to subscribe to three separate soap products, you will need to subscribe to them one at a time.
  • Can I subscribe to multiple quantities of the same soap?
    Yes, just select the number of bars you wish to receive, then proceed to the check out when prompted.
  • Can I use a discount code for subscription items?
    Subscription items receive 5% off every time they ship. Additional discounts are not allowed.
  • Why should I opt for a subscription?
    It allows you to save on your routine purchases, plus you will always have your favorite Cleanbar soaps on hand as a subscriber.
  • Can I cancel my subscription?
    Yes! You can cancel up to 24 hours before your order is automatically placed. This can be managed in your account.
  • Do you sell gift cards?
    Yes! E-Gift cards are available in $25, $50, and $100 increments. Order Online and include a message and the recipient's email where you want the E-gift card delivered.
  • Why does Cleanbar support Lyme Disease awareness and research?
    Our founder was diagnosed with Lyme Disease in 2016. Lyme Disease can be a very debilitating illness, and many times, as in her case, it is not diagnosed early. Late diagnosis results in chronic symptoms that persist for years. Fortunately, in 2021, she had mostly recovered and returned to living a normal lifestyle. She currently considers herself in remission from Lyme Disease. Because this illness had such a profound effect on her life and career for several years, she supports causes that promote awareness and new research. The lime feeling good bar soap is dedicated to helping support these efforts, and a portion of the sale is used for this purpose.
